ABOUT THE PROJECT
Aldeburgh Voices is the name of the Oral History project set up by the Aldeburgh and District Local History Society in 2008. You can read more about the Society here.
Our aim is to record the history of Aldeburgh and surrounding areas for future generations We have a team of about 8 people who record and document our interviews. You can listen to the interviews on this website. You can also search for subjects that interest you and listen to people talking about them. Click here to find out how to use the system and search for what you would like to listen to. Some of the interviews were carried out as part of the Ebb and Flow project sponsored by Suffolk Coastal District Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund. Photographs by Bill Hibbert and others. |
